Deeper Life Church Ministries is a amazing thriving movement in the city of Goldsboro, NC. Our mission is to impact our city with effective life changing ministries. To make and nurture humanity into disciples of Christ. To usher humanity to economic and spiritual empowerment. To embrace and meet the holistic needs of all humanity. Apostle Norbert E. Simmons founded Deeper Life Church Ministries in 1984 with 9 individuals and it has blossomed into a city shaking, culture shifting entity that is a beacon of light in the city of Goldsboro. In 2020, Apostle Norbert E. Simmons retired from pastoring and passed the torch to Dr. Aaron McNair, II to take DLCM further. DLCM celebrates 40 Years of ministry in 2024.

Senior Pastor

Dr. Aaron McNair II is a church culturalist, apostolic leader, organizational consultant, and accomplished author of 15 books with more than 20 years of leadership experience. He is widely recognized for developing leaders, strengthening churches, and helping organizations build healthy cultures and sustainable growth.

Dr. McNair holds a Doctor of Ministry from North Carolina Theological Seminary, certification in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School, and is a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team. He serves as President and CEO of Impact Consulting Group, founder of Fuel Summit and i3 Collective, and provides apostolic oversight to multiple thriving churches across North Carolina. He and his wife, Lady Ashley McNair, are the proud parents of two children.

First Lady

Lady Ashley McNair is a dynamic preacher, intercessor, psalmist, and mentor with a lifelong commitment to spiritual formation and Kingdom service. Raised in Eastern North Carolina as the daughter of former pastors, she was introduced to faith and ministry at an early age. In 2024, she became Discipleship Pastor of MMCC–Raleigh, leading the training and development of new believers into mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

Lady Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in Mental Health and Wellness with an emphasis in Christian Ministry from Grand Canyon University, with certification in Mental Health First Aid. She has completed advanced studies in Homiletics and Hermeneutics in Oxford and Rome and is the visionary founder of PowerPlay, empowering women to thrive in both ministry and the marketplace. Married since 2013, she is the devoted mother of two children and continues to serve with humility, compassion, and excellence.
