Deeper Life Church Ministries is a amazing thriving movement in the city of Goldsboro, NC. Our mission is to impact our city with effective life changing ministries. Apostle Norbert E. Simmons founded Deeper Life Church Ministries in 1984 with 9 individuals and it has blossomed into a city shaking, culture shifting entity that is a beacon of light in the city of Goldsboro. In 2020, Apostle Norbert E. Simmons retired from pastoring and passed the torch to Dr. Aaron McNair, II to take DLCM further. DLCM celebrates 40 Years of ministry in 2024.

Dr. Aaron B. McNair, II is a 7th generation preacher. He is an influential leader, ingenious strategist, and emerging apostolic voice. In 2015, he became the Lead Pastor of Mt. Moriah Community Church-Raleigh, one of five locations. MMCC-Raleigh is known as the “Place of Impact” and is a vibrant ministry whose mode for excellence is fervently sought after by pastors and ministries nationally. In 2020, he became the successor of Apostle Norbert E. Simmons and Senior Pastor of Deeper Life Church Ministries, a trendsetting and thriving ministry in Goldsboro, NC. He is one with the true heart of a pastor and loves to see people grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.

With 20 years of ministry experience, Dr. McNair has the humbling opportunity of traveling nationally and internationally teaching God’s word, training pastors and secondary leaders. He is a highly sought-after mentor for preachers. He has been interviewed and featured for his ministerial guidance and spiritual insight numerous times on several tv, radio, and internet shows. His academic career consists of degrees in the areas of theology, sacred music & Christian ministry. He received a Doctor of Ministry from North Carolina Theological Seminary.

Lady Ashley McNair

Lady Ashley McNair is a powerful preacher, intercessor, psalmist, a sought after mentor, and spiritual mother. Raised in Eastern North Carolina and the daughter of former Pastors, Lady Ashley received salvation and was introduced to Kingdom service at an early age.

On July 19, 2015, she stood beside her husband, Dr. Aaron McNair, II as they were installed as Lead Pastors of Mt. Moriah Community Church-Raleigh. MMCC-Raleigh is a thriving and trendsetting ministry, whose methods for excellence and leadership have been nationally sought after. Under the leadership of Dr. McNair and Lady Ashley, the ministry has seen significant growth, development, and spiritual advancement.

Through the orchestration of the Holy Spirit, Lady Ashley stood again beside her husband as they were installed as Senior Pastors of Deeper Life Church Ministries in 2020. Lady Ashley serves faithfully at both ministries in the areas of praise and worship and intercession. She is often described as the "working First Lady", because she considers no work too small for her to do.
